    The Cost of Conflict

    It has been said that unresolved conflict in a business leaves profits and opportunities on the table. In a very real sense, unresolved conflict is an opportunity cost. By the same token, unresolved problems in the owner’s personality is an opportunity cost for their business. Problems in the owner’s personality will create process, culture, interpersonal, customer, vendor, partner, or governance problems – any of which can throttle down the success of a business.

    Business Owner Dysfunction

    The personal dysfunctions of a business owner will be imprinted onto their business, but the results will be seen as a business problem to resolve instead of a personal problem the leader needs to address. Owner dysfunctions are usually the reason that their business plateaus at a certain point.

    Unresolved dysfunction leaves opportunities and profits on the table. If you’re business has plateaued and despite your best efforts, it is not growing as you would like, then we should probably talk.
